A 26-year-old model, Anam Tanoli, was found dead in her home in Lahore’s Defence area on Saturday. According to the police, her body was found hanging from the ceiling fan in a room. The body of the deceased was later moved to Lahore General Hospital for autopsy. And later it was confirmed from hospital that she had committed suicide.

The police said to have recorded the statement of Anum’s mother and further investigations are underway. According to the statement by her family, she had been going through mental stress recently and she had an appointment scheduled with therapist for the same day.

The model-cum-fashion designer, Anum Tenoli is reported to have returned to Pakistan from Italy few months ago, after completing a course in fashion designing.
As a model she had worked for various fashion designers. It was just a day ago, when her last modeling campaign for a brand was posted on her official Instagram account. Where she wrote, “I wouldn’t be around on insta lately but here you go”.
