Posted By: Khan on 23-01-2026 | 15:17:05Category: Political Videos, NewsA Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Friday (January 23) that the BCB's Integrity Unit is all set to begin their investigation against current board director Mohammad Mokleshur Rahman amidst fixing allegations.
It was reported that Mokhleshur was involved in fixing matches in the ongoing BPL, the country's lone franchise-based T20 tournament. Riasat Azim in his YouTube channel revealed the news on Thursday where he uploaded several phone conversations that took place between Mokhleshur and Noakhali Express chairman Towhidul Haque Towhid with the former dictating the latter on how he wants the matches to be played compromising their integrity.
"Alex Marshal (BCB integrity Unit head) already started his investigation while he also resigned from BCB's audit committee," a BCB official confirmed Cricbuzz.
Mukhlesur was elected from Chapainawabganj district sports association under the Rajshahi District Sports Association in the BCB elections on October 6 last year.
"For the sake of a proper investigation, I have resigned from the audit committee and all other responsibilities, but I will remain a director. I want a clean investigation into the matter," Mokhleshur told this website when his attention was drawn without elaborating further.
Marshall is expected to oversee the inquiry, including the examination of call records, financial trails and possible breaches of both the BCB's and ICC's anti-corruption codes.
Cricbuzz had earlier reported about the fixing allegations against Noakhali Express.
